12 past 12

Post by Nibbit »

I felt like making a movie I would personally like to watch, so I thought I'd combine 2 of my biggest passions, gaming and non-commercial hiphop(how it should be). I phoned a mate for a beat, made some footage of some old battlerecorders I still had (all public matches) and here's the result:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PI8keSlK3G4&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PI8keSlK3G4&hl=nl&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I used windows movie maker, since I haven't used anything else before
The vid is named after its beat.
hope u like it, I had fun making it :)

Urm, have to give that a 1/5, the beat was a good beat, congratulate your friend, but the video possesed no qualities, there was no cropping and I could see the bar at the bottom, the movements were bad, the camera angles boring, nothing happened at all, there were no firefights that actually excited me at all. It was really just like the start of 2 games filmed at random camera angles put back to back.

Consider drawing up a plan for videos in the future, I don't mean a full 32 page script for a random video but just put down some ideas at least, it's pretty boring to watch people running across a bridge and nothing exciting happening. Also, you should get Sony Vegas, I use it and I'd recommend it to beginners as well, that combined with Adobe After Effects is pretty much untouchable.

However, I hope you can take this criticism and use it to improve, and continue to make videos, good attempt but it didn't hit any of the things I like in a video.

Nice vid! I especially liked the shots from Ramiel, they had sort of a panoramic feeling to them, giving a nice view of the terrain with some interesting action going on in the background. Also a lot of nice action shots.. I might´ve been in that round of Road to Kyongan´y (think that´s how it´s spelled) as Chinese defending the western part of town, that was a very intense round! Do you know when that game was?
Edit: just read the comment above; strange, i enjoyed the vid  ... Oh well, opinions differ i guess.
