ok, i know that this is a realism mod but can the vehicles in single player be operated by one player? also this might not be unrealistic as you could think of it as being the commander of the tank (full control) as the ai sucks at using vechicles (APCs, Tanks and AFVs). it is annoying when you could get a driver from alpha squad, a gunner from delta squad and a mg gunner from echo squad. it is hard to issue orders as a commander to vehicles this way as well. This is single player and it would make the bot controlled vehicles much more realistic too.

Actually, the editing of this 'mod' is based on COOP play, not single player.

But if either of you would like to convert the vehicles with turrets into vBF2 versions for this community, then by all means, have at it.

I have another suggestion that would not "dramatically" affect COOP. Why not remove the 30 second warm up timer for the gunner. Similar to the light vehicles (e.g. HMMWV, Land Rover). Then it would make it playable for COOP and SP.

I would really enjoy this tbh. Or at least single player version tanks but some 3 seater tanks off to the side where the AI won't go, so that Humans can practice using the MP version against AI enemies. (but I've made that suggestion about having Human config vehicles on PRSP maps before for training, probably needs som1 to look at it. i'll have a peek at doing it myself when the next version of PRSP is out I think)

just make a squad, and invite the gunner or driver and mg gunner in and youre set :razz:

I answered how to get rid of the warm-up times somewhere in my thread.
