[AAR] Taliban defence, 2/07/2009

Basically, very early this morning. On the UKWF insurgency server, we played Operation Archer. If you were in this game, share your stories
There wasn't many people in this server at the , a maximum of 28 people. And I was originally was on the USMC side, but later switched to even things out.
Anyway, A cache was in the airfield, and I joined a squad lead by Lord_British, and we set out to defend the airfield. The other cache was in the village, and was being defended by another squad. They failed to defend it, so now the airfield was about to be assaulted by the USMC. There was 6 of us to begin with, and defended the 1st wave of US marines, from the walls on the outskirts of the airfield. The other squad later joined us to defend it, and that was it.
The fighting got fiercer and fiercer, and sometimes the US marines actually getting into our perimetre, so it became very intense CQB, they even got into the building in the middle of the airfield, but we flushed them out, and they had to respawn and launch another attack.
They repeatedly attempted to get in, but failed. Our squad leader put down an RP east of the airstrip, so if we were to be killed, we'd respawn there and then counter attack their flank. Which we did, he killed an entire squad that just got dropped off by a huey. We took their weapons including their SAW.
So, we went back to the airfield, and I think we had 2 PKM's and a SAW, and a few M16A4's. The USMC begun attacking the south, and north western areas of the airfield, we fought back, but they had the humvee's this time. We took them out with a few RPG's and continuous fire, and they fell back once more. I believe we obtained another SAW by this point too.
We also had a Huey drop someone off in the middle of the airfield with the entire Taliban team shooting at them, was LULZ.
It came close to 3am, and we had defended the airfield for an hour and a half, but I gave up to go to bed
