CTD after logging in

Hi,
When i try to run PR of vBF2, about 2-3 mins after the "connecting to account server" screen appears, BF2 crashes and closes.
The problem first appeared after i tried to use a custom resolution (1680x1050); at first BF2 didn't start at all (i only got a flickering screen for a few secs), then i deleted all the added strings and set 1280x960 in all config files, and now i have this problem.
My drivers are all ok and PR ran well just this morning

Im in kinda the same prob

load up PR stage, then it cuts out. As in back to desktop?

this is a new prob for me, iv been playing pr for months

Try to edit "VideoSettings.setResolution" to 1280x1024@60Hz in all profiles Video.cons - then start game - if OK - go options and set wanted resolution (had helped some but not everyone)
