I have two question regarding prsp. First one is, do the jdams etc actually work? The reason i ask this is because i was playing on kashan desert and i was an hour through the game. I request an area attack but the commander just kept on saying "Negative" or "No sir". I kept on trying as the game progressed but the same response every time. The second question is, Is there any way to stop my team getting in to transport heli's? All they do is hover over a spot until they get shot down. It gets really annoying! Thanks in advance ACE

The 1.5 DICE patch really screwed with the system.
It screwed up all BF2 mods

It's my guess that this is the problem.

So until DICE fixes it, you can't laze a spot and have the ordinance 'drop in'.

I think you could become commander and drop it yourself, however.
You'd have to give it a try.

You still have to wait for the ordinance to 'warm up', so for JDams I believe it is 20 or 30 minutes from game start and every 20 or 30 minutes after it has dropped.

Transport Helis are as good as they will get with bot pilots.
Use to be the bot pilot would just hop out once he got to the CP and waste the vehicle.

If you don't want them using it then get to it first.

You can also take a ride in a bots heli and bail out at the flag your attacking
All kits have a parachute now.

Not true...only maps that have air vehicles do the kits have parachutes.

bots are retarded. they fly better than me but cant land. that is where i excel.
also that is brill that they have parachutes cos it saves me lots of time
