It was brought to my attention that i can UP my performace with my graphics card, if i somehow FORCE options through my card instead of just the ingame options.

I have a GTX260, with 2 gigs of ram, and 3GHz 6600, XP. All n all a good computer. My PR plays n highest settings and i have no trouble, but there are some very minute slugish moments, that i dont think i should be having on my PC. Somebody told me that i can make it all better by doing the above, but im not exactly sure how.

Also, im hoping it might increase my performance in Arma II, since right now i have it on medium basically, id like to enjoy it on high without it being slugish.


Can anybody help me set this up?


i think it had to do with the Nvidia control panel?

Usually forcing options instead of using the in game options is slower but you could try it. In nvidia control panel under "manage 3d settings" select BF2 and change AA mode to force/enhance and change AA amount to whatever you want. There are other options you can force like AF but I doubt you will see any performance gains.
