The pic of the mig looks like a real plane! Flying is going to be so much better in BF2, I mean c'mon, there are afterburners. Now with these huge arse maps planes can have relatively realistic speeds without flying across the map in 20 seconds. And with the new view distances.... oh boy I can't wait to dive down from 1 mile in the air firing rockets and such

Why don't the guys on the boat have digi cammies?

Given the big red star on the right passenger's helmet, I'd say it's because they are PRC paratroopers.

Definately supposed to be PRC forces so that explains that, good pics for some ideas on what the finished product from EA will look like.

They are Chinese. Only Americans have digital camo.
Actually, Canadians were the first with CADPAT (Canadian Disruptive Pattern), then the US Marines adopted it, and it was called MARPAT. Now the US Army will be using it, and this will be called ACUPAT

Hope this clears things up..

I think he meant to say that the Americans will be the only ones with digital camouflage in BF2.

Looking beautiful.
Question - The Fulcrum(MiG-29) has two form of araments equiped in the picture. Possible R-xx type missiles and bombs with one pilot, can one pilot deploy both weapons?

ATM you can only have up too 2 weapons per position in one vehicle. But if they are doing modern warfare they need to expand it, with all the new computers and such pilots carry loadouts with many types of ordanance as well as their main cannon. At the least we should expect a more adept version of the tank shell switching code we see in DCR/Forgotten Hope(on the flak cannons). But this code could allow to change between air to air and air to ground munitions.

I have enjoyed looking at these. Most screenshots from early builds of a game look terrible but these look like a finished project.
