hmm.. did PR really have those maps before? started playing at 0.86 so i dont know really But if they were, why were they taken off then? I mean snow / night maps would kick ***.

Bashrah had A10 and Cobra in 0.5, but back then it was still all about capping flags.
And Jungle Fever was THE map that sold me to PR

Seeing the old 0.5 maps brought a tear to my eye.
And 0.5 Basrah was in theory unplayable since USMC had so much air and ground power, but it was balanced by the fact that everyone soloed tanks and teamkilled each other over the A10

You can really see the difference in mapping styles and innovations.
The pre- 0.809 maps use vBF2 undergrowth and buildings and have the feeling of Karkand, while the newer ones have different feelings and look entirely different from vBF2.
