I saw it and thought 'hmmm I like this. Reminds me of a Dragunov' (I like the looks of that but I know this is more like an AK).

That rifle is a fairytale, fictional and would probably upset some real gun enthusiasts. Seems to short for a SVD and the magazine is not all long enough and a real SA58 is

Re: [Weapon] SA-58 Sniper version
I know what a SA Vz58 is but i'm just saying is a 7.62x39 assault rifle sniper/marksmen material? They are 47 clones and they don't really have a SVD looking gun but they do have a Vz.57 with the same intermediate ammunition. The Czech marksmen is that down there with still 7.62x39 and was mostly an experiment. So what makes 4cm at 100 yards?WilsonPL wrote:SA VZ58 = SAmopal vzor 58.
Thats why its sometimes called SA58.

Re: [Weapon] SA-58 Sniper version
So im from Slovakia and our armed forces use vz58. vz58 is assault rifle not marksman rifle ammo 7.62x39mm(single target 400m+, group target 800m+, max 2700m) weight with mag(30ks) and knife is 3.77kg and without mag and knife is 2.91kg. Is good gun but SVD is too good and SVD use our armed forces ammo 7.62x54R and our soldier hit target on 1200m nice shot with caliber 7.62 if M21 hit target 900m+ mayby but M14(M21) like me

First of all. Yes the 7.62x39 can be marksman material. Look at the Tabuk Sniper Rifle. Secondly, the SA Vz. 58 is NOT an AK-47 clone. It has almost no parts commonality with the Kalashnikov series. Tatally agree, we, the Czechoslovakia, were the only country in soviet bloc which did not use the soviet AK47 weapon, but we developped our SA vz. 58 (or what ever the english name is.
For touching the topic, im not sure if our marksmen use SVD or modified SA vz.58. Tell me!
