right, suggestion forums are open so i figured we are going to get alot of suggestions about the rally point change. Most of the MANY threads currently about it, people make claims "oh but people like it" or "most people dislike it" without any solid evidence to back it up. so here it is;

This is not a Discussion or suggestion thread and it still only been a little while since release, so maybe make another poll in couple of months time.

Again: not a discussion thread. I guess a fair poll would be?:

"do you like the new rally point changes?"

1. Yes, love it.
2. No, dislike it.
3. like .9, but liked previous versions better
4. dont care

or something of that nature.

1. Yes, love it.

No longer are squads appearing out of the middle of nowhere because they spent an hour walking around the edges of your forces, and the squad leader and one other guy always managed to survive. There shouldn't be free reinforcements to a squad in combat -- the whole point is that infantry have to take long walks.

1. I like it, puts more emphasis on logistics, transport and calling a full retreat when all odds are againts your squad.

You need a 5th Option of "Works Sometimes, but needs Improvement.

With the FOBs/RPs in PR now, they are a major hit or miss. Some games and maps work well with them, and others just fail miserably. Also, I have yet to see any major drawn out battles (now its just small skirmishes) or big stalemates between teams because whatever team has more FOBs just dominates the maps. Some of the bigger maps work with them (Yamalia), some don't (Silent Eagle), and a lot of the insurgency maps don't work with them.
