Over the next three years the Czech armed forces will be adopting the 5.56mm CZ 805 rifle, the 9mm CZ Skorpion EVO III (no relation to the original CZ Skorpion), CZ 75 Phantom (polymer version of the CZ 75) and CZ 805 G1 underslung grenade launcher.
Cool stuff

Are the Czechs only upgrading to the 5.56mm now?

Since NATO is using 5.56, I think we are supposed to use it too. The qualities of both ammos are other thing...

CZ Skorpion EVO III looks far better IMO.

Man, part of me wants this rifle for Czech forces, part of me doesn't. I love the way it looks (like a Magpul Masada mixed with some european), but I love the Vz. 58 too much to give that up.
