Faction/Map/Lag

Well done!


Factions:
IDF is very cool, Hamas also, Russians are now good.
Canada, i like it too.
Time to rework the MEC, it’s a fictive faction.
Maybe you want to rework them to Iranians or Pakistani with weapons like g3, fan-fal, ak.


Good Maps:
Beirut is with Muttrah best map for me, best rounds there.

I think it was wrong to change Asad Khal, most fighting’s should as in previous version be around the houses and not in the open field. Also the walls in Asad Khal should give more protection especially against 5.56/5.45 bullets. The advantage of PKM and AKM is not accuracy or low recoil it is their punch/power. PR mod should represent it more!


Lagging maps:
Lashkar, Gaza, Falluja lag very much...
I also think that there are too much maps with forest

Fictive? Thats the point, so the dev's can decide what assets are in use with it.

Think of it as an amalgamation of middle eastern countries hellbent on misdeeds and evil schemes.

I'm sure the devs want to hear your input, but try to make it a little bit more constructive with a bit more content in your posts. What I mean is this thread could have just been posted in a related topic.

So I have some points here, MEC is there to keep a bigger view of the many arab countries it would just seem wrong to have for example Pakistani forces in Muttrah for example. BUt ofc if you want it, make it yourself applies here.

Lagging maps? THis has been said alot and why are there to many forest maps? This was a un needed thread as most of what you come with is either already discussed. MEC will stay for now, but you can always make another Arab country if you want.

Lagging maps have also been adressed and there will come a version to alteast adress some of the lag issues. And to much Forest maps? I think the R-devs make the maps they want to make not what you want to make.

All in all this thread isnt adding alot.

I dont like to hear such stupid comments like "if you dont like fictive faction then make a new one". I gave my feedback. Thats what the section PR:BF2 v0.9 Feedback is for.


Further, I noticed that M16 can suppress a SAW in a firefight
it would be good to see suppression effect:
Single shot(s): very little
Assualt Rifle full auto: little
MG with about 600 RPM: middle
MG with about 800-1200 RPM: high

Then the SAW gunner is doing something wrong.

IRL, you will be suppressed even if only one or two bullets hit near you (because they ALL kill).
