For me it seem like insurgency it no more taken into consideration when making global changes to PR. Insurgency Is Different! Every single change shoud be evaluated in every applicable game mode to see how it will play in really different environments.
For example, if this "no FOSs near map edge" rule has distance of 100 m, in 1 km maps it results in more than 1/3 of the map area being ruled out for FOBs. Yes, over a one-third of the map. But remember how many possible cache locations are inside this area? I bet there is a lot of them.

You should see FOB making as IDF on Gaza.

This one is going to be a major issue. Although rallys do auto rearm after 10 mins.
I missed the thread that asked/complained about FOBs/hidouts being built close to the edge of the map. Was it found to cause server crashes, glitched spawns, unfair advantage. when I build FOBs near the edge of the map (some good cover there) Id type up the location if its hard to spot on the map.
May be increase the size of the map overhead to include none out of bounds areas. If its not out of bounds it should be on the map? The problem isnt the FOBs being build close to the edge of the map but the map not incluing the hole playing area.

This is gonna be a major problem on Korengal which already has a big problem with places for FOBs. Its going to be pretty bad on Fallujah and Gaza too where the only good spots to place FOBs were on the edges of the maps most of the time. Seems like everytime something good happens (the new RP change), an unnecessary change always comes out to cancel it out or regress us (No FOBs on edge of the map).

I get that but such a implimentation must of been tried out with beta testing in game or at least discused by the DEVS. Due to it being a major game play impact I guess it wasnt seen that way with you guys being so busy.
Nice work praise where its due for fixing the other things keep up the good work.

The minimum distance seems to be about 190-200m!
I would understand 20 meters. But 200m on small maps (even on 2km maps) is massively exaggerated and the decision is inexplicable for me.
At first we were forced to rely our success on FB's and now this gets unnecessarily aggravated.
Oh well.

this is true, they can defend a cache location on the edge of the map but we can't build a fob there..... and it does seem as though insurgency is overlooked.
