Uh, what the hell is up with those trucks? They take about 10 AT missile hits to kill, they can drive over a mine and live, you can drive them in water and they bob around and don't die. But as soon as you 50 cal it, it explodes within a few seconds.

Don't get me wrong, those trucks are awsome. Especially when you have five of your friends in the back and your hurling through enemy lines, but those things are rigged.

On the U.S side, there is two trucks. One directly east of the bridge sitting at the petrol station and the other is below the southern base somewhere.

Oh, and also, you can't see the trucks on radar. Even if there is a friendly in it. They just dissappear.

man, i gotta say that the first time i saw those trucks, i said in voip "WTF is that?, that shit is moving man, wtf" i got impressed myself.

LOL I gotta try those amphibious trucks. Is there anywhere to moor up once you hit the other shore?

They're not amphibious, they just don't explode in water and you don't lose HP like would would with a standard vehicle landing in water. And yes, there are ramps on both sides, but that's irrelevent.

Trust me, we tried, you can not get the trucks up to the other side of the river. You can push them to the other side of the river using apc's, but when you try to get it up the ramp, it just doesn't budge.

Also, in the OMG truck, there is no character sitting in the drivers seat whenever someone jumps in it.

Yea, um, about those. The dump truck comes with BF2, but as you can tell, it was never finished by DICE. The mapper added it to the map and I guess it slipped by in testing about how those things were totally unbalanced. Atleast they don't have guns.

awww we should keep it as an easter egg.

I'd say leave the super truck version in, at least it has an achilles heel(.50 cal, someone said). Perhaps put a proper version to be incoperated into normal maps.

I remember this track from an early BF2 vid, some guy was driving it around the big pipe/tubes under the dam.

i say ditch cp_abadan, not a very good map...

It's going in 0.4, apparently.
