So, I've always wanted to record some of my rounds playing Project Reality. However, I never got around to it, until now.
These videos are a compilation of footage that I recorded on a round of Jabal Al Burj on Tactical Gamer.
I'd like to apologize ahead of time for the audible breathing/strange noises. For some reason or another, Fraps picks up my microphone even when I'm not holding down my VoIP button.
I'd also like to thank db for helping me get Fraps and VirtualDub to work after I ran into a few hiccups while I was first starting out. As such, my videos will be in a fashion similar to his; that is, first-person gameplay. There are no fancy edits/effects/transitions, just true-to-life gameplay.
Anyways, enough chit-chat, here's my first attempt at recording in-game. 1080p is available.
they Look good... But they are a little laggy for me... and my card can handle 720p imputs... but it's probably cause I'm a lazy bugger that has no need to open up youtube..
Edit: Try not to quote the entire post, no need for that really - Jig
I mean alot of bits were good but you had too many parts where u werent really doing much. You should cut alot more out on your vids as also you would proably only need 2 vids instead of 3.
Looks good mate, great quality too!
If you enjoy recording the rounds then you might be interested in downloading battlerecorder files from the server to get some sweet 3rd person gameplay, I've got some great teamplay recordings on Fallujah. Just a thought anyway
By the way, you can now upload 15 minute videos on youtube i believe. The action versus the quieter moments really helped deliver the tension of the game. But then im not a big fan of videos that just skip to the action without showing you much of the buildup or teamwork that it took to get there. This was an excellent set of videos, thanks for posting em.
Sorry about the two separate videos. When I was uploading, I accidentally segmented the AVI file. 1080p is available.

Just a quick snippet while I'm still figuring out Fraps and VirtualDub.
I had recently watched this video and it inspired me to try my hand at clearing the control tower myself. I was bored so I went solo and decided to only use my side-arm.

Having come off a fairly frustrating, though ultimately successful round of Ramiel, Boogy thought it might be fun to run amok all round with only our pistols. Hilarity ensued.

Would you like the thread renamed, I don't think these qualify as 'fraps test' anymore, well the last one doesn't.

Very nice airfield tower clearing, thats should shut up those who complain about how useless the pistol is.
Also, on a minorly related matter, what's up with your signature? Who's that guy and why is he running so funny?

It would be great if you could, thanks.

The clip is from the HBO series, Generation Kill. The man running is the reporter embedded with the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion. He is performing the infamous, serpentine maneuver whilst trying to evade enemy sniper fire.

Tactical Gamer was down one night, so I hopped onto another server. While waiting for a ride from main, I picked up an iron sighted marksman kit from another player who disconnected. The moment we managed to get into the city, we came under fire. Soon after, a cache was identified close to us. This is when I started recording.
The key to finding a cache is to watch the enemy's troop movements. They will inevitably lead you right to the cache.
