Is it a bug? How can I throw bots out of my vehicle in PR 0957?
The Commo Rose doesn?t help anymore - the bots stay seated!
What can I do do get rid of them?

Only 1 position where they will never leave if asked and that is the 'heavier' gunner positions.

Tank, apc, ifv and soft vehicle cupola gunners who control the 'main' turret of the vehicle.

This was done because...

1) Too often bots would jump out once the vehicle took any damage.
For example, tank gunners would bail even though the tank could with stand at least 2 more hits.
This tank would become a waste.
By keeping them in there it raises the chance they can fight their way to 'survival'.

2) The gunner would jump out to help cap a flag when the vehicle itself can't help cap.

There are CPs where only infantry can get within the flag cap radius.
Bots would bail so they could help, but usually wound up abandoning the vehicle afterwards.

By keeping the gunner in the vehicle, it stops the vehicle from being wasted and he can protect the CP until another bot (or human) decides to drive it again.

FYI, it's been like this for at least a couple of versions now.

thanks for your explanations.
Usually, they would have been pretty helpful but in my case, I simply can?t get rid of any bot in any vehicle - no matter, if it?s a gunner or just a "passenger".
It just doesn?t work, neither in ground vehicles nor in air vehicles.

Hey guys, I found my mistake.
Didn?t know that in this version of PR you must use the left or right mouseklick in combination with the commo rose held pressed.
