[Video] A PR New Years on TG

Post by Spuz36 »

Didn't have anything special planned, so hopped on TG for a round to transfer into 2011.

What we had was a fast Qinling game which I would bet was close to a half hour or just over. Pretty short compared to what rounds usually last there. Mainly infantry and a few shots of Apache runs. Tell you what though, those Chinese were mighty sneaky here and there ;)

We all kinda went crazy at the end when we capped out the Chinese, think New Years attitudes where showing too :-P

I still want to know what gun they used to kill us in those hills north of the PLA ops, they were so damn accurate.

Love whitey's quote: "well you're not in the ****ing habit of running across Qinling are ya'

That was myself and my squad you all were up against at PLA Operations. I led an infantry squad defending that flag with TheAmazingYant, y0ta, Wolfer, [R]age_Hk*Sniper*, 40mmRain, along with the smurf APC supporting us (which didn't last long). And, damn, am I happy to see that it was an organized pair of squads we were up against, because I would've hate to have been rolled so easily by a bunch of goobers.

The enemy wielding the Chinese HAT you all first engaged at the peak was TheAmazingYant. I attribute his astounding proximity to you guys to his drunkenness. In fact, I'm amazed he even noticed you all. After you all wiped him, it was y0ta who threw that grenade, but he bled out shortly after. I had only stationed those two as look outs up on that peak.

Once Yant and y0ta were downed, I ran to that same peak to try and mop up, only to **** my pants upon seeing all six of you buggers charging up the hill to the west. That was me with an SL's QBZ firing on you all from ~200-250 meters out before you got behind the hill. I would attribute the hits y'all took less to my marksmanship and more to the fact that at a few points, you all were so close together I didn't have to worry about max accuracy and could just fire twice a second. New Years luck! My thinking was to wound enough of you and to put enough rounds down range to slow you down for a bit to get some backup.

Once you all got behind cover, I ordered the rest of my squad to uproot from the FOB and come to me to fight your squad off. This proved to be huge mistake, as literally 30 seconds after Wolfer hopped off the AA, here comes the Apache, which didn't kill me, but murdered my mobile squad. From there we just couldn't get our foothold back.

Overall, tremendous moves with the combined arms work there. You guys gave me such a headache I didn't lead the next round on Ochamchira. It felt like the entire Brit army came down on us, and it was a shame we got worked so bad, because I felt I had some great squad members that round. And man, it's definitely a thrill to see the assault from the other point of view. Thanks for posting.

Blame your armor, we were at your first flag with tanks, APC's and infantry before a single Chinese guy arrived, plus your jet crashed into the water lol.

CAS were tards. They were WWII-style dive bombing. It was both hilarious and sad. I tried lasing you guys for an airstrike as you crossed the field to get to us.. ahh, if only  .

And outside of my squad and Fox21 in that APC... pretty much the entire team assaulted the flag the Brits start with. Why? No clue.

Zegel, I was the bomber pilot and in the time we were alive didnt get a single lase from the team, maybe you lased after we had died. We killed a tank manually after the team reported a very approximate location, and spotter the brit FB north of chinese ops and got 1 atgm onto inf around it. We then died attempting to bomb it because for somereason the bomb hit the plane as it dropped and my gunner got the tk message for me as we both died. So before you call people tards remember two things, they might be readign what you write, and you don't know the whole story.

Hey Zegel, it great to hear a story in the same manner! Good shooting too. Thanks for sharing.

The crash at 8:23 was the TK on chriswebb. We were all clueless as to what happened. The ATGM might have been us dying right before, thought it was the Z-10.

Sorry chris, the tard comment stems from me confusing the names of the guys in the Z-10 whom I had never seen before with you and your bomber in the jet. So when I saw a jet flying around and people ragging around on team-chat, I just assumed it was them.

The Z-10 wasn't that bad, he wiped everyone in our squad but me at 1 point, he just happened to hover for a bit too long after that and took a HAT in the face

There Bazul I fixed your typo.

I played PR on new year too. Had a great round on Al Basrah.
I haven't played Qinling in ages.
