[AAR] Tactical Gamer (NO VoIP) game

Well some time when we were playing password night on Tactical gamer Sunday January 15 we found that VoIP had ceased working. which meant that communication inside of squads was impossible.
The thing that saved the night was the fact that everyone in the server had mumble. We were able to hear our squad mates within shouting range. Squads actually stayed together within shouting range.

The server itself was communicating as a whole unit rather than separate squads. We found ourselves shouting to the person behind us to pass it down that the contacts were flanking. We also had the squad working eagerly to stay together.

When squads were split up due to deaths, people would link up with other units to finish the job.

I believe that the event had the most Team work then any other game I have ever played. The players did not let No Voip ruin the night. They used it to make the game more realisic and fun

Suggestion is that we should make this an actual event if at all possible.

Any stories and talk that anyone wants to share on the event? :)

Fantastic job Marco, if IIRC u were Charlie 1-1. It was a pleasure squadleading besides you. The round was pretty hectic. The US held out against the MEC quite well and the Round ended 0 -70 MEc favor.

The Combat was EPIC. There was no time to sit and rest on that round. Every min Every second my squad faced enemies in CQC. When we were defending Docks and North City it felt as if there was a entire MEC battalion attacking.

From sitting an a alleyway taking mortars in all directions. To fighting my way out of docks it was truly a awsome round.

One of the greatest rounds I've played, each team was very evenly balanced with the US making a grand comeback, if you had have gotten East City we would have lost.

This is the setup we had going at the peak of our team's strength, we couldn't turn docks due to a valiant US defense and we then lost North and West respectively.

Nice FOB's. Most of the time it's hard to get the team to make that many.

There's a server out there that requires people to be on mumble and kick those who are not out the server. Check out Project Reality Teamwork Alliance. NWA and UKWF also have a high number of mumblers on on most evenings.

he means a mumble only event, as in no ingame VOIP just mumble

I had a good time there, I was one of the pilot's and it was difficult to say the least to really get done what needed to be done working with only mumble, while in a chopper. In game com-rose really played out valuable here.
