Alright, so in order to help ease my friend into PR I've been going onto Coop servers with him. We've been frequenting one server (=GB= Reality Warfare) in particular, and were on Kashan desert. My friend called it a night, but the server was filling up so I stuck around. I spent most of my time in the single seat-able Bradleys and Abrams that are available in Coop. Most of the other players at this point had taken to the skies.
At one point we had taken both North and South Bunkers, and I was in a Bradley heading to the North Outpost to help deliver what I thought would be the killing blow. I saw several of my squad members hoofing it out of the South Bunker so I decided I'd help them out and play Battle Taxi with my Bradley. I headed over to pick them up. Not a second after I had picked up my squad members, a friendly fighter (I wasn't paying attention to it but I think it was an F16), bombs us and takes out my Bradley. The "bail out" alarm blares and the three of us escape the Bradley, alive but otherwise shaken and confused. Just as I'm about to start chewing out the friendly pilot, I watch in horror as not one, but two A-10s strafe and obliterate a friendly Abrams. At that point I start giving them a verbal dressing down, and their only response is "Well then laze targets for us." I respond by making a quip about how "This is why the Army hates the Air Force."
Irate as I was about it, my squad leader decides to do just that. We set up on a random hill in the middle of the desert and the squad leader starts marking columns of MEC armor. We decide we'd be more efficient if we had at least one sniper with us, so our squad leader requests a supply crate. No answer. He requests again, "Affirmative, a vehicle is on the way," someone responds. Minutes later, as bombs are exploding all around us, T-90s are driving by, A-10s and F-16s are playing "How low can you go", we ask again for a crate. Someone says "2 minutes out."
I scan the skies for what I figured would have been a friendly chopper bringing the supplies. Finally I spot a friendly logi truck rolling along the dunes toward us. I think to myself "Finally we've got some supplies and we can get into the fight." Myself and my other squad member start making our way toward the logitruck. We almost reach it when out of nowhere a very low flying friendly A-10 slams into the side of the Logi Truck, destroying both vehicles and their crew, for no apparent reason whatsoever. And all before the logi truck had a chance to drop us our crate. Once again we are isolated, alone on an island in a sea of pilots acting like VBF2 idiots.

Hahahah! You should definitely make a small cartoon about that. Has to be hillarious.
Anyways, I'm sorry, but I don't think you can expect anything from anyone on the COOP servers, except
yourself. Why didn't you just take your squad with you and join another COOP servers? There are loads of them, and there are always three or more servers running Kashan Desert.
Trust me, I have been through this, and it does suck. But hey, it's COOP. This is where the vBF2 noobs go, as they have no idea how to play it for real.
Just be glad they didn't enter a "real" server to harass it.

Unfortunately, I hadn't frequented the server so I didn't know the caliber of players that would show up when the server got fully populated. My first clue should have been the A-10 and F-16 acrobatics.
I'm pushing my friend to graduate onto a regular server with me the next time we play. The COOP was just a stepping stone for him to get a feel for the differences, but even COOP doesn't do the regular game justice. I wanted to show him the dynamics of a FOB building squad without taking up a squad on a real server, but in COOP there's no digging, just the squad leader laying everything down.
