[AAR] *ALMOST* A Clean Round!

Post by M_Striker »

So we started up Fools Road, got my squad up ready to go and went off capping flags. The round lasted about five minutes, with five tickets losses on our side. 8-)

yeah, the russians are kinda screwed here. Their main anti tank weapon is that little apc, but its too clumsy for my taste. If I am one of the rebels on this map, I will usually drive my tank around the entire round and get around 50-0 kills, most of those just by picking their vehicles off the roads. Also the fact that the russians only mode of transport is the apc, they always have to wait to get their APC squads sorted out, which takes a while.
And since most of the area is not maneuverable by apc, they either all get in the apc and drive on the road where the chance of running into a tank is pretty huge, of they walk through the forest which takes forever.

The tanks arnt really all that hard to kill with Spandrels its just people use them wrong. They use them like tanks and try to take them headon. They need to ambush the tanks. The first Chech flag once was airport so the tanks were going along the north road. We took both spandrels and drive up to the open ground near it and hid near some trees. Took a tank down in the first five minutes. Unfortunately in our haste to retreat the other tank shot one and the other flipped.
Later on that map both tanks were north of one of the hill flags. *the one north of Dylum Village* inn the plains west of the road. "How much you wanna bet they are watching where we come from" I said as we come from the north, as soon as we round the corner the spandrel in front is annhilated by a tank, mine pops out and I disable one tank. Then back up and the other tank decided to chase us down so we waited for him to come out and blasted him before finishing off the second tank, then later a bdrm in the area.

It just takes some hit and run tactics. Ambush the tanks and youll get them. Ive seen Russia win a few times, usually when alot of clan members are on it and working together. Thats the only way to win, to work together. Squads go off and do their own thing and its lost.
