Muttrah City, I was leading a squad as I usually do on that map. Played as MEC, and I decided to put up a firebase behind the mosque, and an AA on the mosque roof. Worked out fine, for 5-10 minutes. After that, we noticed that the cobra was hovering pretty far up, shooting down at us. Of course, I told my squad to get in to cover inside a building. Everyone did, except one who said he would try to go in to the AA and shoot the cobra down. I told him that he wouldn't stand a chance, but he just ignored me. He got up the stairs in the mosque and up to the roof. About 2 meters away from the AA, he got blown away. For some reason, he started screaming at our medic, ordering him to go out there and revive him even though the cobra most liekly were looking down on him, as the pilot knew we were an entire squad down there.

I never said "I told you so" to that guy, but I did think those words. And since we were attacked on the ground at that point of time as well, I told our medic to leave the guy on the roof and start helping out those who still had a chance. Medics are better off alive.

Telling everyone in my squad that I had just rigged the front entrance to the gatehouse on Fallujah West with grenade traps and then getting 2 teamkills and verbal flak because no one listened.

Also joining an infantry squad and saying that everyone picking up a specialist kit at the beginning of the round and then moving halfway across the map was stupid, following which a HAT kit took out our truck and destroyed every kit our squad had mindlessly taken

Fools Road. We (Russians) just capped the first flag but noone defended, the Chechens with their fast techies capped every other flag and soon came to the first. From the beginning of the round one guy "whined" about staying there to defend, but since I am the most l337 SL in teh world just wanted to go on, let the other SQDs handle it.

Well, the flag was capped just when we arrived at our next one and after this even more "I told you"s came from him... Anyway, we lost with 250-0.

Damn this! Always think before you do something, dont just do it and stay on course if there is a more useful thing to do.

haha yep. Also had one of these myself. There where 2 squads at the flag we just captured. We where already moving out (300 meters away or something) so I figured, were already assaulting so let the others defend.

they didnt and the same thing happened as you described. A big I told you so moment, because we all talked about it in Squad Voip that we should fall back as soon as we noticed the others moving out as well

once in Muttrah i was SL. My team (with my help) capped every flag (we were MEC). Then suddenly the muttrah docks flag falls, and now every minute that passes we lose 1 flag... till the flag thats in the middle... thats where my SQ start taking the flags again... we got 2nd best squad if im not mistaken, 2800 was the highest, we had 2500 points.

it was cool nontheless (if this is the way u spell it XD)

I was flying transport at Operation Barracuda, waiting on the carrier for infantry. A squad jumps in and tell me to go to Fortifications flag. I said "Its way too hot down there thats not a very good idea..." He said "JUST GO WHO CARES DAMN". I said "ok" and 30 seconds later I get locked onto and take an AA missle. The alarms start sounding and the helicopter is starting to lose control, I say "bail out" and I jump just before the chopper explodes. The only survivors of the crash were me and the squad leader who I wasof the squad I was transporting. We were just sitting there in the water, and I said "Told you so"

Had an Airtaxi Squad on Kashan and was bringing Supplys into Bunkers, when I got shot down suddenly on half the way by, I think, a tank. Another guy was flying the next chopper and got an entire squad to fly to Bunkers. I told him not to go there, because its way too hot, he acknowledged, lifted off and went straight towards Bunkers. No 10 seconds later he and his Payload went down in a fireball, and I slapped my forehead...

I tell the entire server to call in an admin on 24/7 Muttrah because another guy said he wanted the cobra, and I said "he's going to tk me and my gunner if we get in"

Sure enough, he LATs us once we get in. Wasting a Cobra and destroying an asset for the rest of the round.

I forget to tell you, but he left once he did that.

On Operation Barracuda, were americans and we move to the SE of the island by boat to assualt the airport tower flag, we sneak up to the run away and get ready to mvoe through the fence, when we get spotted, so i tell the squad leader i should smoke the tower with my m203 to cover our assault and that we should smoke the runway as well.

but SL says no it will be fine, lets just charge there quickly, so everyone gets up and begins sprinting and the enemy squad in the tower just slaughter everyone as we begin running.

i just face-palmed and left the squad

playing on operation archer, whole squad jumps in chopper and we say go to the west of the airport in the hills as theres technicals and lots of insurgents at the airport, so we begin flying over and pilot go towards the east of the airport, so we tell him we want to go west as theres to many enemies there and the pilot says whatever just get out and lands on the airstrip, where we get shot at by 2 technicals and at least 3 rpgs

the pilot then left the game whilst we all facepalmed
