Here are the soldiers for the NZDF, they still need a little update for the new NZ Army kit. This is low priority though seeing as the kit will take a while to get out to our troops. Enjoy

You can also do wonders with trying to place one face from one model onto another
I took the vest off the Brit soldier haha and placed it on the US heavy one. Works a dream i think.
Why should i change model? Is the vbf2 US Soldier being made redundant? Recession aye....

From a Kit Geometry standpoint -- it's nice to have all the player models with similar dimensions. If you reskin some of the BF2:SF player models, you can have a wide variety of heads using the same/similar body.

Any plans to skin a Maori soldier?

Yes there will be a maori soldier. I may look at reskinning the US Navy Seal soldier. At the moment it will be the African American US soldier that gets converted to Maori.

Also one more thing, try to skin the full body armour from the heavy soldiers onto the light US soldier so it looks like he's wearing body armour rather than a thin cloth vest.

He's not wearing body armour though It is just a thin vest for the webbing.

I know, however in game terms all conventional faction player models have body armour regardless of the visual. The closest you can get is to make the apparently unarmoured soldiers look like their wearing armour by texture. (I'll show you what I mean as I did the same thing with the US soldiers for 0.9)

I will add a layer of Khaki Flak or Kevlar armour underneath the vest. Then it will look like he is wearing his webbing over a light armour vest.

US Navy seal will look interesting. Looks good so far, great work.

Alright cool. I will find some references for the kiwi equivelant of that. Then i'll incorporate it into the already done skin, and the one i am doing for the SEAL soldier

Thats what i am going to look into. At the moment i am going to do some reskins later tonight for the US Navy SEAL soldiers, and possibly the SAS depending on time i have

Ok so here is a little Update on the player skins. I am still doing the US Soldier model. I have started the SEAL but the Model just doesn't work. So for now unfortunately we are sticking with the US Soldier..
The skin needs more work on the body armour.. I want to do a bump map so it doesn't look so flat. But i don't know how to bump map yet
Anyway here it is with added armour.
