Regarding the screenshot with the tall apartment building, they really should install some elevators :o

flattered by the steel thunder remake guess, but my map looks way different then that.

I would take a hit and guess by the alphabetical order of the screenshots that the final 4 SS's are from the Ursa Initiative for Canadian Forces: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f354-c ... m-wip.html

Of course with different lighting conditions than in the screenshots in that thread.

The last preview picture looks like a world war 2 map :P

No sangin though, i has a sad. On the otherhand, I'm really looking forward to playing the more urban maps :D

I think the thing i miss most about the old vbf2 style loading screens is the map explantion. now, your just fighting over random hills and you dont know why its significant.

I don't think it's actually meant to be Pripyat, just inspired by it to an extent.

PR doesn't have an official story so it's appropriate there are no map stories.

Otherwise it fuels never ending debate about the realism of the whole war scenario, as well as restricting the map locations and factions to whatever fits the story.

Put OGT (only OGT) back in before v0.9 Final, please! Its such a great map and a lot of poeple still loves it... and it isn't big in file size either.. ;)

Other maps such as Road to Kyongan'Ni and Seven Gates are outdated, everyone can see that. The same with other old maps too. But OGT is not, it still plays fine and its up to the best team to win - its very even and balanced! Its the only epic jungle map we have, the only one! ;)

For those that missed it:
However, we plan on releasing a 2nd levels installer shortly after v0.9 with a lot of the old maps in them (not just the cut maps from v0.874, but even older maps), set up with the skirmish game mode (and maybe coop?). But it's not really the priority at the moment, so I can't really say anything more.

Ah, ok. And that will be official so every server will have it and not just an extra pack for those who want it? And will the maps be ONLY in Skirmish mode and not AAS (v3?)? Its wont be the same gameplay then, especially for OGT which works pretty good with AASv3 right now.. ;)
