mmm i think this is bullshit. First, if he spectate a group of soldiers. The enemys could think that he is spectating someone ot something. Second, he will make me wired if i see a green/red or what color thing flying over my head. I will shoot and will tell my position to the enemy. That's not reality!

Edit: Sure it's usefull for filming. But nothing elese.

Actually this might be a very good way to simulate the insurgents doing opium...

I like it. Will be great for admins or matchcasting.

I suggest mounting the bannished chrome OMG badge from the new bomb truck on it.

:( It's visible? Don't like that idea. I could not "stop" myself and would think about it all the time I see it.

Hopefully I wont but well...

I think thats a great filming and "check oout da map" tool, but for real battles it's not needed.

When did you ever need an admin to be at spot X inside a battle?

nice admin tool but an invisible one would be needed or maybe a camo one because put it this way if your doing sometihng wrong and you see a big red something or grteen thingy floating about then your gonna stop
Yep, true.
And for realism too.
I'm afraid by cheating with this tool.
But good job

I dont think much cheating would be going on. Besides, they could cheat by sending someone to the other team and relaying positions by mumble or vent anyway. Neither of which I enjoy btw. Great job though. I think a smiley face would be a little bit better, unless the admin who is in it is a jerk though, then the sadface is perfect.

'[R-DEV wrote:AncientMan;1230888']It's visible, as you can clearly see in that picture ;) . You can spawn as many as you like, however, only players with their name added to the config will only be able to spawn it, so it's limited in that way. It's up to the server admins to control how it is used, or not used.

Does it float down to ground level if the driver gets out? I could see an admin flying this around and then getting disconnected. Both teams would rush the landing zone black hawk down style to recover the UFO.

Could be an interesting game play feature "Find the crashed UFO to get a H4XOR UAV. :D

If you get out without letting it come to a complete stop it keeps drifting around.

I believe it's updated now. When someone exits the camera, it dissappears.

Not really. It's bright green so that players will know they are beaning spied on in pub games.

Now what I wish to know is. Will this new toy get added to PRSP at some point. Or made in such a way for it to be used when watching a "battle Recorder file". Not everybody has access to a dedi server to use for filming.

Unnecessary:

What % filmmakers have access to server?
Admins flying and watching are wasting 1 slot on their server.
Matches - not posible in PRT (32/32 battles), few teams (having matches) will agree to be watched during a game (spying etc), usually by an admin of the opponent.
Visible = distracting.
If there's collision = obvious problems.

PRT battles are 31 V 31 I Think. I may be wrong. the extra 2 slots are left for PRT admins on game days I think. So this would be good in the PRT
