One big update that affects all kits is that they remain on the ground for 5 min, instead of the default 30 seconds. Also a new "drop kit" mechanic is available as a right-click option of the middle button in the Squad comm rose, making it easy to switch kits with other players if needed.
This really helps me as a Medic and to maintain the medic of the team
Hey guy I know this is not the place but I have not been able to get an answer from the technical guys so im going to ask you. I recently downloaded OP snowsomething and now i cant open PR. I I cant get rid of the op snowshit because it says file corrupt. I uninstalled the whole PR game yet its still there. Now when I try to get the Patch it tells me I have to get 8.6 so im kinda breaking my balls on what to do. When it comes to figuring out progams and stuff like this. Im no good. But at graphic design and military history im the guy to go to. So if anyone can help. I will be glad to help you with anything you need to know anytime...

Did you try removing it through "Add or Remove Programs" through "Control Panel"?
Th3Exiled wrote:Which core files did you use? 0.85 or 0.87? Did you just re-download them so you can reinstall or did you keep a copy since the first time you installed? I'm guessing you've only been around for at most 6 months and as such would have the 0.87 core files installer, as opposed to the 0.85 one, in which case you do not need to install the patch as you have the current version.
If you have the 0.85 core files you'll need to install the 0.86 patch; here is a link if you can't find one for yourself, though its hosted in australia: AusGamers Files - Project Reality Patch v0.86 Mod for Battlefield 2.
If its still crashing when you try to run it, uninstall PR then make sure that the "pr" folder in the bf2 directory is completely deleted; the default directory is C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods.
If it still does not work, start a thread in the pr support section (I know you said you asked the technical guys, but you don't seem to have a thread about it).
Exiled.
THANKS! Im going to go ahead and try system restore first. Then I will attempt at doing what you said. Thanks alot!! I mean it

I agree that civilians should be dressed so that they can be distinguished from the other rebels. But my friend believes that the developers did look like a civilian insurgent specially. Besides, I think that should be given to civil bag of ammunition. It also would significantly enhance the importance of this role.

The point of Civilians is to look like Insurgents. This simulates that you don't know who is foe or not, you have to check it first before shooting mindlessly. IMO all insurgents or most of them should look alike. Because now it is now like "I just saw guy in gray shirt, so here should be IEDs somewhere!". In real engagement you can't distinguish enemy (not to mention his role or equipment) by his shirt or hat. @_@
'[R-MOD wrote:crazy11;1247435']The testers are supposed to be on the forums everyday, so that really does not mean anything.
.[/B]
My point was that they are working on it and that theres a lot of work to do, but they are close, so be patient. regardless of whether or not testers are on everyday or not, its simply a statement of what to expect: that the new release is not too far away but its still not here so just be patient.
