Oh PR has only gotten better :) It's the players that's getting worse you know.

Can't wait to make another one as PR gets more maps. It's a good way of promoting PR I think.

.5 Basrah was the best and is what kept me playing PR (It was the only thing I played during .5!)
Playing as insurgent had a very "sneaky" feeling to it since there where some underground tunnel's you could go through in the village areas on the map. I remeber playing as an insurgent and using the closest one to the city as a flanking route with an SVD. I also remember how to hold the original village flag, you get a squad or 2 of insurgents down in the basement and camp the entrence, the USMC would spam their smoke grenades trying to get down there.

And almost nothing beat assaulting the village or the facility flag and seeing the A10 swoop in for gun runs, or thinking I was as cool as the delta snipers in black hawk down and trying to sniper people from the black hawk with the M21....oh how naive I was back then

It somehow even made me a little sad... But nice video

Someone should make a list when which map came into Pr and when which one was taken out.

Too bad that would be a really fun thing to look at after playing Pr for so long

Ha .5 Al-Basrah, running around as the Insurgent that looked like a MEC Special Force guy with an AK-101, good times...good times....I might tear up a bit now...

Brings back sweet memories of the early days of PR :D

Maps sure have changed a LOT, not to mention there was smaller maps + SL spawn, then rally points came in WITH SL spawn, then SL spawn gone... bigger maps came along rallies got changed over and over until FOBs > Rallies today

Mao valley was the best classic PR map ever though, the grass was so tall throughout the map ( Even though it wouldn't render at longer ranges, a gripe of earlier versions )

I would hide in the long grass near the capture point, and we would have a rally hidden in a back wall of the cave - old assault kit with grenade launcher + ammo would tear people up back then :D

Playing PR since Halo dropping spec ops and SL spawn ;) ( .3  )

^^ not to mention the hours i spent setting up claymore traps on Mao.... crawling around followed by frenzied knife attacks, c4 into bunkers.. oh i do miss the old Mao Valley days!

PR is a different beast these days.

I think the map I miss the most has got to be Airport. idk what it was about that map but I just loved it. And the old Helmand Province was awesome. Way too small by todays standards, but with a little effort it could easily be made larger and brought back, that would be awesome imo. Oh how I hated the old Fallujah Region map, with the dust storm. Operation Phoenix was an awesome map, pretty large too if I remember correctly, should totally be brought back with updated statics. P=

There were only a few maps I didn't recognize. Probably during my PR break when I was frustrated with all the noobs.

I'm proud to have been apart of PR through it's development. It's been so cool watching it evolve, even if I don't agree with many of the changes the devs decided to make. ;)

Yeah most of them were fine maps. Some of the original BF2 maps was a 100% better played in PR, could also be nice to see them come back someday.
