Guess I'll have to check the mod out again when I get back from vacation...
Earlier, I downloaded the mod, and was only able to play a co-op game (well, I could also play purely online, but I'm strictly an SP player.) Lest the game think there were slots open for other people to join, I slid the bot meter all the way to the right (I am ignorant about such things) and wound up with all the bots on the enemy team. So, I decided, "Well, I guess this mod's not for me" and uninstalled the thing (in hindsight, a bad idea). So, when I can, I think I'll download 0.91 again.
Looking at some other comments, I have concluded that Co-op is the
only mode in which Project Reality can be played single-player. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) So I have to ask:
- Why did you get rid of "Single Player" mode a la vanilla BF2?
- How can a SP player's "Co-op" game isn't, well, co-opted by some rogue online player (taking up a slot in the game the original player intended to be SP)?
- Do you need to download the "sever" software to play a strictly SP game (if it can be done), or can it just be done with the "client" package?
- Can you play the "Skirmish" mode of maps in SP? I'd like to get right into the action instead of having to go on a long ride before I encounter the enemy.
