On Kozelsk the squad I was in got pinned behind a vehicle wreck up in the swamps to the NE and had the enemy slowly encroaching on our position, throwing grenades and firing on our position continuously. With no other way out we popped smoke everywhere and went on a bayonet charge. I think we covered 10m before we were all dead. It was fun.

Squad bayonet charges are fun to do when the tickets are about to run out. Not very effective though.

I just witnessed a civil war break loose on my team, and a few of them were bayoneting each other. It was kinda cool.

We actually capped them out using Bayonets only I think too.

Are these succesfull bayonet charges from past versions?because iv never seen or had one where i didnt get shot in the head since .9 came out same goes for knife fights to.

If other versions than yeah iv been amonge enemy sqauds and knifed the whole lot of em the confussion of one lone guy charging them made them all spray wildy and some even Tked eachother trying to get me.

The maps and gameplay changes dont allow for that sort of thing now tho.

I participated in full squad bayonet charges many times on Operation Ghost Train. A few times it was just fun and games, but almost always we surprised ourselves with how succesful they were in overunning specific defensive positions. It's no joke, bayonet rushes worked in our favor many times. If done coreectly, you can take out most of a squad silently. The ensuing confusion for the remaining enemies is enough to give you an advantage for the rest of the rush.
