[Green] Game starts off by us grabbing a transport truck and using the Green route to get to the mountain side. Once there ,we dump our truck on the slope and continue climbing on foot. We can hear choppers flying back and forth, constantly dropping troops. After setting up covering fire, me and several others continue moving south, using the Red route. Once in position, an order is given and the blood bath begins.
Our covering team became main fire and quickly mowned down all enemy troops on the hill infront of them. A full squad down in just a few seconds.
Appereantly, the USMC had a Fob built on west beach, though the flag was not in play. It took them a few minutes to flank us and to our misfortune, another full squad has been dropped off at the power plant - we were screwed. They picked us off one by one, just like in a horror movie..
Once respawned and back at main, we used the same Green route to get to our old position, this time on foot.
Out in the distance, we spot enemy troops, searching for our Fob. At this point, we had 14 kills and just 6 deaths. They didn't expect for one squad to take them all out!
Again, a 2 man team was set for covering fire duties incase we get spotted on the move. Once we're on the hill and got a good view on our foes - covering team moves up and sets up on our position. I set out and walk toward them to chuck some presents. Behind me - I've got Skullman with his nades out and ready. Suddendly, Dutch-handsome spots a lonely enemy HAT kit just 20m to our East and he quickly deals with it. Dutch-handsome manages to operate the HAT kit and splits up with the rest of the pack, moving deep south behind enemy lines.
With me and Skullman at our destination, an order is issued and a sniper team gets annahilated. As the bullets fly, we throw our nades and fry the remaining ones. The entire squad moves up and takes defensive positions. Far in the distance, we could hear a LAV approaching. As it seemed to be far away from us - it was near to Dutch-handsome and just moments later we hear a cheerful Dutch - he killed the LAV. "What goes around, comes around" I thought to myself. That HAT came in handy! Cheers USMC!
The exact same scenario repeats. We get flanked from every single direction. With nowhere to go nor hide - we face the grim reaper.
Again, once respawned we decide to take the same route, but before leaving base, everyone notices UKWF Smiley shouting at them cupcakes, for not defending Jabal Al Burj, as it was our flag in play at that time. One of our infantry squads had just moved off from the city, leaving it defensiveless. It was up to us to defend, as Squad 6 completly ignored everyone that shouted at them.
[Yellow]We took a trans truck and headed to North Bridge. But before we drove over it, I jumped out and gave the wheel to someone else. With me, another squadie decided to follow me as we were checking the bridge for any mines or C4 charges. "It's clear" I said, and the truck full of troops followed us in. We stopped at the end of the Yellow Route and quickly disposed of an enemy squad which tryed to ambush us. The green circles indicate our positions. Everyone took a building of their own and started to overlook different directions.
About 5 minutes after we arrived, Hunter spots enemies South of us, on the hill. Without hesitation he opened up on them as he noticed that I was about to flank them. Yet another full squad was killed.
[Light Grey] I took this route to come behind them, and check out what they had there. Blue circles are their FOB's, we completly ignored the first FOB as it was too hard to take care of with one squad.
Aproximately 100m infront of me, theres 2 USMC troops healing each other. How sweet. Took me a few rounds to take care of these headless chickens. Just as the 2nd guy was taken out - I hear the roar of an LAV South of me, and its DAMN close! I picked up an enemy LAT kit, and just as I was about to fire - the LAV finishes me off and continue moving North, where he gets killed by our TOW.
Midnight decided it was neccesery to come and get me up, so he did.
Red cubes nr. 1 and nr. 2 came from FOB nr.2 and were taken care of. At this point, we were engaging lone wolfs, no coordinated squads came across us.
15 minutes after the Southern FOB was taken care of, we notice choppers doing intensive runs in H column. I used the Light Green route to flank them. I had Midnight covering my back. Red cube 3 consisted of lone wolfs aswell, who tryed to flank us on their own.. Althought with no luck.
BMP took care of FOB number 3 and we continued moving along side the river, toward red cube 4. A friendly sniper South of us gets killed and so we quickly burst to that direction, as we already knew someone was there.
With me in the way, and Midnight behind, I take several shots and go into Black N white mode, completly not knowing where the shots came from - I chuck a nade to my South as my last stand move. Shortly after, screams of the downed marines bursts a smile on my face - I was happy.
Midnight pathced me up and we stood up, over looking the area - it was clear, we dominated it.
Our victory was interrupted by Hunter, he shouted "OH SHIT" over VOIP, at first, I had no clue what he was on about. But before I even finished saying "What happened?" The sound of a dropping bomb appears out of nowhere. At Jabal al Burj gets a JDAM. With only 3 lives lost, and Hunter's continous reaction of "Oh my god! I saw the bomb! I saw the bomb! I dropped on my head! Oh my god!!!1oneoneeleven!!11" - We called it a faildam.
The round was over, with my squad on top of the leader boards with over 40 kills and exactly 12 deaths. We had not built any fob's ( Sorry smiley! ) nor did we use any heavy vehicles. Small arms lead the way!
~ The end ~
I just had to get this off my system, it was such a great round! Whoever managed to read this entire post, I express my endless appreciation. Thank you!
