The 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment is an international community and we are looking for new members from every walk of life in any country around the world.
We are seeking gamers who want a realism clan where there actually is room for promotion, advancement, friendships and fun. Our main Area of Operations is the realism mod Project Reality. As the Project Reality franchise is growing we are beginning to incorporate in ARMA 2, it is not required!
But what is the 508th? It is a group of gamers formed from an old gaming community which holds its origins in 2005.
This community became corrupted along with its leadership. So at the start of April of 2010 the 508th was created.
Our 5 man democracy who founded this clan consists of these members (in alphabetical order):

* Kharon
Requirements
Our requirements for membership are:
- Must be at least 14 years of age
- Able to game with us for roughly 4 hours a week.
- A working headset or microphone (headset preferred as we do not like to hear echos).
- Must have Mumble functioning
- Must have Teamspeak 3
- Must have Hamachi 2
- Must have Project Reality (Battlefield 2-mod)
- Must have no prior bans or record involving hacking or any illegitimate behavior

508th Parachute Infantry Regiment Veteran's Program
The 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment works hard to be a clan that is friendly to veterans and active duty military personnel. At the 508th we respect and value the years of real world experience that current and former service members have, regardless of country or branch of service. We have been working on a way to recognize and reward our service members and veterans, and this is it.

What is the 508th's veterans program used for?
Purpose: Real world military service is held in the highest regard in the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, regardless of the country or branch of service. As such, real world service is rewarded within the 508th.
Requirements
The Veteran's Program is completely voluntary, and is intended as a way to give back to our veterans. Out of respect for our vets however, we do try to be careful that no false claims are made. Contact SGT Ice or 508th Command Staff for specific details on requirements.
Time in service
Upon full acceptance into the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, eligible veterans may be granted early promotion as recognition for their time in service. Additionally, at the discretion of 508th Command, eligible veterans may also be given additional time in grade credit for future promotions within the clan, again dependent upon real world experience.
