Yeah that was our concern with the creation of the lengthier tags. But let's not worry about that.Toaster wrote: lets just hope it doesnt expand to the weapon you like to use, what position u prefer, the ammo you like and how you hate Tim westwood

Re: Universal teamwork-oriented Player Tag "#"
Gonna drop the old [F|H] tag.
Or put it at the end of the line.
Nice idea! Love it!
EDIT: Had some trouble combining the tags since the prefix cant be unlimitedly long, but now I am happy, check out the attachment.
Looking forward to play with other f-tards!
Again - very great idea. This way we can have a good idea of "how skilled" the teams are. Having the tag means that the guy was in the forums and this is already a big step forward for a new guy.
And new guys will have to know who to ask if they have questions.
Not being an f-tard also means not saying "GO RTFM" all the time.
Usually I help the guy out 2-3 times and then I say that after this great round which I am enjoying because he is learning so fast he should quit the game for half an hour, make himself a cup of tea and read the manual in detail to be prepared for more difficult matches.
That usually gives em enough motivation. Had people grabt their old mic out and restart the game to be able to communicate properly.
Absolutely love new guys.
But enuff my chit chat, let the # begin!

Loving the idea and I have adopted it myself
I gave up on Quai also, but I hope to see you # guys online soon!
What servers does everyone mainly play on? That'd be a good thing to know so other # players can find each other.

sounds like an easy way to show of elitism.
it basically screams "yeah so i like visit the forums and stuff and im so awsome i wear a tag to show it.. oh you don't? ...dude you must suck ...i don't want to play with you".

1. Good to hear!!!Luca_is_here wrote:Loving the idea and I have adopted it myself

2. I usually find its TG, =H=(or whatever the flipping tag is) Hardcore, CIA and a few other ones, check This for a good check.
Oh burghUK, its not our intent, if you look at the main page it doesn't say that anywhere does it?
Its meant to be a practical way for people to work together, frankly if people don't visit the forums and if they don't want to participate in the # fad, we aren't stopping them, we aren't calling them nubz, we aren't showing "elitism" we are merely trying to better the experience for PR for ourselves.
if you chose not to participate fine, but don't go around making false statements.

The best definition we got so far of what does this tag represents for a player is:
"I'm not a F-tard."
(Note: this tag also by no means declare that we are "perfect" at what we are doing, but just that we won't ruin whatever we have our hands on.)
And the perfect answers...
Now, you might be asking yourself, "but... who are these guys? Who do they think they are to create such a tag?"
Well, we are just some random average PR players. Some are in clans, some are not. I'm not. We just had this idea. If you don't want to use this tag, then don't. If you don't want to trust the tag-wearers, then don't.
Just saying, I don't want to criticize you or anything, but that was stupid ie. you didn't even read.Megagoth1702 wrote:Not being an f-tard also means not saying "GO RTFM" all the time.![]()
(I play on practically every server, but more often on PRTA (awesome server!), UKWF (awesome server!) and NwA (awesome server!)). Other awesome servers which I don't play very often include TG and Coffeshop.

how about you just go and put on a TG tag, it stands for so much more.

Re: Universal teamwork-oriented Player Tag "#"
Why would you come to our thread where we have made a simple tag to help team players get together and say that our tag is not as good as another? I find that very disappointing. Besides, if your TG tag does mean so much more, wouldn't that include not putting others down?GoreZiad wrote:how about you just go and put on a TG tag, it stands for so much more.

We can't guarantee that it is effective in stop that kinda of stuff, we never said that.GoreZiad wrote:i'm not saying it's not good, but this very day i saw a dude with that # mark first stealing our ammo techi while we were mortaring, then proceeding to call us noobs. he was a sniper.
The tag is merely for us to say that we want to play in a teamwork rich environment.
And for future advice not all of us are like the one guy you have seen, don't base all of us off of one guy.
In all honesty I say this, and I will only say it once, If you don't have anything nice to say, why say it? You are just wasting your breath

Well next time please, remind him to remove the tag. He's just passing the wrong idea.GoreZiad wrote:i'm not saying it's not good, but this very day i saw a dude with that # mark first stealing our ammo techi while we were mortaring, then proceeding to call us noobs. he was a sniper.
The idea is not limiting this tag - but we gotta keep some form of quality - I mean, every tag-wearer needs to have the conscience of this idea.
I.e.
I tried to sum up what does this tag represent. If you want to use it, feel free. But please, use it ONLY if you are going to not be a stupid player/gameplay ruiner.
I know this was annoying, but I'm just pointing out - not defending him at all - that most insurgency rounds on the opfor side it is a little more messed up, except for Militia. I.e. being a sniper doesn't really mean anything on insurgency in my opinon. Stealling the ammo techie, that's annoying. Did you ask him why did he do that? I love asking that and amusing myself when they try to answer lol.
BY THE WAY there are a few clans that have the # mark, so make sure you are talking about the right mark, aight Ziad?
