Because if you can fire your regular weapon out of the window, you can shoot an AR or an AT weapon out of it too

I don't see a problem with creativity in PR, if you can only shoot from the sides there shouldn't be much of an imbalance, given that the APC has such great magnification.

Well...Imagine the backblast from AT weapon if you fire it inside vehicle. Its not nice, is it?
