About the Ducks
We are a well established team that holds fun and teamwork as the most important aspects of this Project Reality. The fun ranges from ridiculously weird pubbing sessions to deadly serious battles. We do what we enjoy and we fight together as friends. Our team itself is divided into several squads with their own set roster, training days, and leaders. The tasks they accomplish range from setting hidden ambushes, fighting as a hardened infantry squad, and manning heavy assets. All of these roles depend on the squad you belong to. [3dAC] is an international team; we have members from North America, Europe and the Middle East. We are looking for more players to join us from any continent. All we require is that you are able to speak and understand English, respect the team and its members, and act maturely when needed. This season we will be having 32v32 up to 50vs50 battles every two weeks. Between that we will fight as many skirmishes and events as we possibly can manage.
The battlecycle in [3dAC]
We are still using a battlecycle, based on the PRT cycle, with a "Strategy Phase", a "Tactical Phase"and the "Operational Phase". With a fixed battlecycle it makes it easier to coordinate everyone, to plan ahead, and to prepare yourself and your squad properly.
The battlecycle will begin with the announcement to the team after which we will open a brainstorming thread to the team. Everyone will have until the Friday of that week to give their input as to what they think we should do in the battle. After Friday (day 5) the battleplanning will commence with the help of the battle department and all officers who wish to participate. The battleplan will be completed by Sunday of the same weekend where we will have a Teamtraining to practice our deployment and test out some tactics developed by the battle department and tactics/training departments. The squad requests for how many players each squad must bring will be sent out on Sunday after the team training. Your squad will have its own team trainings and pubbing sessions throughout the two week battle cycle to assist in the preparation. The following Sunday we will have our battle. At the end of the battle we will have our regular debrief and officer debrief where a designate will be given the task of taking notes of the debrief and kicking off the feedback thread which will last for one week for extra feedback from the team then be filed. The same day the next battle will be officially announced and ribbons will be given out by the personnel department.
