Due to WiFi issues I just d/ced from a round of Kokan (Canada) and wanted to say thanks to all who were playing with me. Great work from my squad mates (wish I had a screenie of your names) and to sq 2 (APCs, led by Devastator I think) and the Chinook pilot who did everything I asked of him.

Squad movement was excellent, calling targets, being generous with suppressive fire etc, great fun.

Always open to ideas for events. Might be one soon (SNOWDEN LEAK) depending on if I can find the time to think of one, and what to do with it.

You guys should try and do one on War Machine on one of these Friday's or Saturdays. US servers haven't been doing any organized events recently..

I don't know why i play this server anymore I really dont. Everytime i have been on i've had a problem, whether it be people baseraping and nothing being done about it or like what has just happened now...

Somebody explain to me why a SCIMI is claimed under APC? any other server does this? I wasnt allowed to take it due to an admin locking his APC squad and not letting me in it so its sat at main base doing fuck all.

There was 50 tickets left... does that mean nobody can use it but you guys can still use your APC's?

We tend to treat IFVs as APCs. I'm not sure if any other server does this but frankly any other server isn't out server so it doesn't matter. It also doesn't matter if it was an admin leading the squad or not, the SL doesn't need to unlock the squad for you if he doesn't want to.

Its also a common practice to leave an asset at main in case the asset you're currently manning gets destroyed and you want to get back to the fight quickly instead of waiting for a respawn.

I'm sorry that you seem to have had a bad experience on our server.

How far does this extend?

Can I lock my tank squads at 4 people on Kashan? Sure, there may be up to 6 tanks available, but I'd like to save those other 4 tanks in case we die and want to get back in the fight quickly.

According to your rules there are no one-man locked squads, you can't solo heavy assets, and you can't create duplicate squads... so by your rules a two to four man locked squad on kashan or other asset heavy maps is kosher... regardless of other people wanting to play in those assets, because those 2-4 players might want to save those assets for later.

Can you only leave/save one asset at main? Can you save one for each pair of players? Does this allowed 'saving' apply up until an admin wants to crew one of the assets?

The ambiguity leaves a rather sour taste, in my opinion

"Its also a common practice to leave an asset at main" - An asset as in one asset is what is allowed in most cases.
Being an admin has nothing to do with saving an asset for use if one gets destroyed. An admin has the right to request use of the asset just like any other regular player. In the end it is up to the squad leader to allow them to use it or not.

Thanks for the clarification. Just to further clarify, if we're crewing three assets, and there's one left at main base, that's ok, but crewing 2 and saving 2 is not ok [if people want to get in the squad]?

We would rather see the assets being used. If you've got half of the assets your squad has claimed sitting at main and a few players want to get into the squad to use them I would encourage you to open the squad as long as they won't be wasting the assets.

Just one final point of clarification, who rules upon whether someone will be 'wasting the assets' or not... The admin, the squad leader (who probably knows nothing of the people asking to use the asset) or the people who want to get in the squad?

OK. Server is cool and everything but, we have some more maps in PR( not only Sbeneh and Kashan). Allso I'd think on autokick for teamkills... Durning Insurgency as insurgent I've planted some IED's to protect cache. Some (3) blind guys stepped on one so I've been instantly kicked :( After that I couldn't join server, beacouse it was full...

It would be a combination of the squad leader and the admin after the people who want to be in the squad are let in. As long as the assets are used properly nobody would have anything to worry about.
