Hahaha it's true. Downloaded .981 just so i could play a bit of Normandy. Not a complete waste of time, finally found the bagpipe kit. :)

Other than the loss of some devs that have crossed over of course but that happened a long time ago, well before v1.2 etc. Worse single thing was probably the loss of Chuc to Squad (although he technically left PR:BF2 well before joining Squad due to r/l stuff) since he was our key animator and we don't really have anyone to replace him which makes implementing new handheld weapons pretty tricky, but other than that development has continued and its still some time yet before we and the community totally stop working on PR:BF2 altogether as it still is the only game out there which meets our FPS gameplay style and will be for quite some time yet.

Although I happen to know that at least one other animator has been doing some work for a minimod, so even without Chuc it's not like animations will never happen again.

Indeed we are coping without Chuc with the emergence of a few new animators to fill the void and work is certainly continuing at a steady rate :)

I gotta say, those animations he did are top-class. At least squad will benefit from his skills.

No, as was said in your AEK/AN-94 thread a few hours ago, they aren't in general use. PR represents battles between standard military units, not special forces.

Is there any PR merchandise out there to purchase yet with the thread we have to vote on what people would buy and if not, why not?

Now I'm confused. There are three "next PRs" in development, PR Arma III, PR2, and Squad.

PR: ARMA III is just for arma, they moved from arma 2 to 3

PR2: was supposed to be on cryengine, but its seemingly dead

SQUAD: A sort of PR game made by original BF2 :P R devs

All 3 are different seperate teams

PR2 is made with the free SDK CryEngine while SQUAD is made commercially with EPIC's Unreal Engine 4.

No one's taken the risk on ordering a large quantity of things then for everyone to say it's too much or the post is too much or I haven't got paypal etc etc......
