I have a recently updated Surface Pro running Windows 10, running BF2 PR Version 1.3.9.
The issue is as follows; I have sound upon starting PR, I have music in my menu, and my loading screens as I join a server. For about 5 seconds upon going to squad selection, I can hear the in game sound effects.
Now, after those five seconds, all in game sound effects cease and all I can hear is mumble talk- all of the mumble talk on my team more precisely, outside of local. Anybody using squad, or command channels. This is very disorienting, as you might imagine.
Is there anything I can do, or is this a problem with Win 10 and I should wait until my tower is built to play?
Mumble works, but no in-game sound.

Re: Mumble works, but no in-game sound.
I'll try that out. Thanks.
And at 1440x900 on all low graphics, I average about 45 fps. Obviously with a lot of action it drops to 25-30, but I get about 60 when running around with nothing going on.
