Mouse doesn't work after loading, but keyboard does

My mouse works completely fine in the menu, but as soon as I'm past the loading screen, it stops working. My keyboard seems to be functional, I can press TAB to see the scoreboard etc.

Things I've tried so far to fix it:

- Reinstall PR
- Install BF2
- Delete profile folder
- Delete Battlefield 2 folder
- Reset controls
- Plug & unplug the mouse when it freezes

So far no luck, anyone have a suggestion?

Wierd have you tried running windowed, I have noticed thqt when alt tabbing from a full window app a delay before the mouse returns what OS are you both on? Have a look in mouse options any kind of priority like how it goes away when you watch a film....

As a botch try enabling pointer trails and see if that changes anything.
