Error 8? even as admin....

so i went to start up the game and i got
8: cant find root bf2 directory....
wtf, ran as admin: same thing
i even opened file location and everthings there :/

You could open the install directory and start it from there, then make a shortcut if it works, but I would reinstall my friend.

yeah i did that, but this is the 5th time ive gotten this error this month and the 3rd time ive had to reinstall, what could be causing this issue? :

my other issue is i wanted to play a 100 bot match with 50 per team
when i started the game blue for had 35 while opfor has 16 of so,
how do i fix this?
