Low FPS - Maximum rig (need suggestions!)

Post by The_Turkish_Moose »

So here's my rig:

i7-6700k @ 4.2Ghz
GTX 1080
Corsair Vengance RAM 32GB @ 3200Mhz
500GB Samsung SSD (Where PR is saved)
6TB Western Digital HDD
H115i Water cooling
Axi 760 (or 870 - I forget) Power Supply Unit

I know PR is riddled with poor optimisation and so on and so forth but I still get low FPS in the infamous maps like Kokan, Fallujah, Muttrah (Maps where many players get concentrated into one place)

I didn't use to have low fps. I set the video to 1080p and there was no option to disable LODs. I then enabled Dynamic Super Resolution to run PR in 4k. When the no LODs feature was added I tried it out and eventually noticed the low fps. I tried reverting back to my old settings but I still got poor fps. The temperatures are fine so I'm assuming that I have my settings all wrong.

Any advice would be appreciated - sorry for adding to the long list of "low fps" posts but a lot of them didn't help. Also, should I render sound with Hardware of Software. Default is set to Software.

Thanks

i guess you have Laptop

this Laptop has a small integrated hd graphiccard hd 530 which is not so powerfull

you Need to configure in your Settings when your Laptop uses wich graphicard,
so it uses in case of Project reality (which uses Directx 9 ) the better graphiccard 1080

The specs on my profile are old - this is a new computer I built and it's not a laptop
