Try to set it as default device in control panel.

Find your device and set it as the "Preferred Device" by right clicking on it, selecting 'Game controller settings' and then clicking 'Advanced', select your device, click 'OK'.
Any questions, feel free to ask! Cheers!

it works in battlefield 1942 but not in project reality i am using keysticks but it doesn't change anything (i use keysticks to simulate the mouse pointer(and now for all the other keys like WASD if you get what i mean))
who knows a good alternative or who knows how to fix that problem

I remember having issues with getting my joystick to work in PR because of some configuration related to Falcon controller which was added to BF2 in an earlier version. I had to manually edit the config files to remove all falcon related bindings to get my joystick to work. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but check out controls.con and see if there is any "falcon" stuff in there.

In which column you made the changes?
I suggest reset your controls, remove falcon settings and make your changes only in the secondary column.
BF2 at all have mostly problems when you change something in the primary controls column.
