A long awaited weapon...
Yesterday [R-CON]Matty converted our L85 series into an L22A2. By 3 o'clock today it was textured and imported. Hows that for speed?
Here it is:
Credits:
SA80 Body and Susat- Existing
L22A2 Conversion
Model:[R-CON]Matty
UV: [R-CON]Matty
Texture: [R-DEV]Pride
Export: [R-DEV]Chuc
Ingame it will have a foregrip, like on this image from Chuc:
Unfortunately all my other PR work is on hold atm due to me being bang in the middle of my A-Level exams. However, hopefully you'll see me become more active again once they finish at the end of this month

Loving it but will the crewman be the only one using it, it seems a shame to have such a beautiful weapon for just one kit
There is only one unforgivable lie That is the lie that says, This is the end, you are the conqueror, you have achieved it and now all that remains is to build walls higher and shelter behind them. Now, the lie says, the world is safe.? The Great Khan.
40k is deep like that.

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

Ye, Crewman are the only real users of the L22 in the British Army so they will be the only users ingame.karambaitos;bt4141 wrote:Loving it but will the crewman be the only one using it, it seems a shame to have such a beautiful weapon for just one kit
Because they always have susats fitted to them in r/l. I've only seen one L22 myself with anything but a susat fitted to it, which was a eotech and that was only done to see what it was like.Daishi2442;bt4148 wrote:Quick question; why is there a susat on a PDW?
... I would love to know where you get your information from.CommunistColby71;bt4152 wrote:So no the crewmen won't be the only ones (I hope). The British are replacing the L85s with L22A2s IRL so it should be in this as well. Great job DEVs. I cant ever stop being amazed by your work.
The L22 is part of the "SA80" series, which the L85A2 and the L22A2 both fit into, along with the L86 etc.
The L22 has been in use in the British Army for years, as has the L85A2 and there are no plans to replace an assault rifle with a carbine.
