Game stuttering

Game stuttering every 15 seconds for about 1-2 seconds, making the game unplayable, have searched for the issue, haven't found a solution, every driver is up to date, no update in the background, i cannot find the culprit for the stutter, so if anyone has an idea I would love to hear it, game runs smoothly overall except for the stutter

Thanks bro, it was the antivirus. I tried to figure out for a month why it was stuttering and it was the bitdefender. Thanks dev for this much appriciated help

I've searched around the forums and tried various fixes, but nothing has worked so far. All my drivers are up to date, there are no background updates running, and I’ve monitored system performance without noticing any clear culprit.

I’ve also tried lowering the graphics settings, disabling overlays, and even reinstalling the game, but the stutters persist.

If anyone has experienced something similar or has any suggestions on what else I can try, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

On my old computer I had similar short freezes when Windows File History was creating backups to a non-ssd drive. So you might want to check it as well.
