Here is a sample of my voice:

What a terrible site is that :o . Could you use 4shared or so next time?

Your voice sounds okay. The quality isn't that good though, but perhaps you can try to somehow get some better footage. And ye, as said, try to sound like you're in a battle. Run up and down the stairs a couple of times, then record :) .

And Goldwave is indeed shareware, but it let's you use it until the end of time :) .

May i remind everyone that wants to help out with the voice that we still need a good Squad leader and Squad member voice!

The mod is progressing nicely were getting models ingame at a steady pace but a beta release is still miles away if we dont complete the voices!

Hello all,

I am reporting for duty :) .

I am a fellow Project Reality player and dutch (ISN'T THAT WEIRD). so if you need help with voices give me a shout. my voice isn't that good for a sl i think but good enough for a normal sm. and maybe I'm really saying maybe I can use the accommodation at school (INHolland Haarlem) where we have a few studio's.
Audio studio
quick translate
Audio studio
four separate recording studios, complete with every instrument. blabla guitars blabla. In a separate audio-control room can be worked with the Mackie 24-8 table and you are able to record digital in pro tools. all kinds of different microphones are available with as crown juwel the Neumann U87.

these things aren't saying anything for me but I say maybe I/We can borrow that room for a part of the day when it's not in use.

I didn't ask anything yet but if you want me to I will do it.

Well you can always do some samples yourself, so we get an idea of what your voice sounds like :) . Then after that, if your voice is good enough, you may be able to do some recording in Haarlem.

Hi there,

Like AfterDune said, make a sample of you voice saying some stuff in diffrent ways talking, shouting, ordering, if its good enough , we will give you a list with lines that need to be recorded.

It sounds like they got a nice studio there.

Guys if I may say something about this organisation wise: I'd ask him to check wether its possible like he proposed himself: clear/rent that studio for the day so all the guys who do voices (commander, Sl, Sm) can record it in a proffesional studio. Always better than just people at home with a mic.

That way you got the same level of quality and atmosphere troughout all the voices.

Working a proffesional recording studio is not done easy, better leave that to the pro's.

There is a certain sience in recording stuff.
