I began to translate the manual to PORTUGUESE using Adobe Acrobat. Can I keep the original manual template as images, titles, etc?

HELOOOW!
Soon with v1.3 release coming up we will be looking once again for translating the updated manual. The manual has once again received a rather larger update with more images, better structure and more content. And of course a massive update with all changes between v1.0 and v1.3. This time around we hope to keep the manual more up to date with each release to come.
I'd be great if I can already receive some names of people interested in helping out. When we are close to v1.3 I will be contacting these people ahead of time to start the translation early.
Check the 1st post in this thread to be up to date on what languages are WIP or have been assigned as before.

U_Turista is taking care of Portuguese translation as it says in the first post. Then again, isn't Brazilian Portuguese a bit different? So we could have it separate?

hum, yeah, it's a bit different... mainly the accent...
but some words are really different, like "ice cream", which we say "sorvete" and they say "gelado"
"gelado" means "cold" in Brazil...
or you get words like "flu", which we say "resfriado" and they say "constipado"... and that in Brazil means someone who can't defecate at the moment due to intestinal problems... not kidding

ops:
maybe if I get access to what he is doing, I can see if his translations fit well in PT-BR, get it? then we can only adujst what's necessary, and needs changing.... and I won't need to do the whole thing again...
IDK... it's up to you

PM's send to those willing to help

With the encoded changelog out and many changes already talked about it's now safe to release the document for people to start translating. Remember that there is no deadline, if they are finished before or after v1.3 comes out doesn't matter. I can understand that translating 50 pages can take a long time! The english version is ready for release. But the sooner the better of course. Focus on translating and I'll take care of layout changes and page changes if it all doesn't fit anymore.
Thanks for all those helping!

Updated!

A small reminder that translating to one language with multiple people is also very much possible. For certain language speaking clans for example this would work excellent to divide the work among a few people so everyone does a few pages.
Disnoxxio is translating to Dutch right now so if anyone is willing to help translate to Dutch please contact him or me.

I see you got BlackGus to do the Spanish (Latin American) translation. Nice, kudos to the Latin American brothers. I will be on holidays starting next week and I volunteer myself to make the shiniest Spanish (Spain) translation you have ever seen.
*Salutes*
