I have very low FPS too, my PC is total shit, still the worst performance of any map i had so far though.
I think the asset balance is really good and i really like that there finally is an insurgency map wih an A10 again.
Like others said taking off with the A10 is very dangerous, it could make it barely off the ground even when i taxied right to the very beginning of the runway to take off.
The map overall is really beautiful and has a new unique look not seen before in PR, very nice map indeed.
Good work and thank you for this great map!

I can confirm terrible FPS on this map whereas I get great FPS on all of the other maps. The rest is excellent

Map is look cool .
but i dont understand to put 4km open desert map with iron sight .
most of the times i shoot at dots and pixels .
it could be fixed with some small zoom when in iron sight .
but as it is . if you dont play on 4K resolution you cant see sh1t

I'd like that too. But at least this time both sides struggle with it instead of just one side being forced to blindness.

I can agree that the runway is a bit too small. Due to the new A10 flight physics the A10's *** clips a bit in the ground while taking off.
Adding 20m to the runway would be dope.

Runway too short
FPS too low
Would work better as INS, with taliban
If AAS, needs either more assets or more cover
Overall, too simple and not enough detail/cover for what it is

- Shitty fps
- map is to big , I think you can make the map way smaller and compacter
- View range is to far
- needs more detail/cover

Do you mean performance-wise?
Because otherwise I fail to see how a good draw distance is a bad thing...

Yeah don't compromise on that view distance, one of the things that makes this map stand out in insurgency.

No need of artificial cover since there's plenty of room to manioubre and stay concealed.
And definately no need of more assets: assets can engage from afar and stay alive. More assets would make this one Khami II.

Serious FPS problems as well, although my PC is a potato.
I can get around 50 to 60 on most maps but Fallujah. But on Bamyam it can range from 50 on the mountains down to 18 when in a city/village, making it unplayable in urban areas of the map.

Is it a bug or a feature that the Mec-Main on AAS Std. becomes unspawnable when the US capt all the city flags, but the mec still hold their first flag (echo)?
It took me around 15 Minutes yesterday to get to my Tank because even the Trans couldnt spawn back in main

Bamyan AAS Alt = Best map in the game now. Except the ticket bleed and lack of initial spawns for Taliban is way too unfair. Only other issues are performance wise for me. I have a beefy PC; 6700k @ 5ghz, 16gigs ddr4, gtx1060, PR installed on SSD, playing on sub 50 ping servers and I still lag like a ***** in certain parts.

On INS std something is wrong with the airfield tarmac. Landed at 600 kph with a good approach and the A10 burst into flames instantly. I managed to get out without taking damage, but the thing should have been a good landing. Either it was the runway or the A10 landing gear.

Played the map earlier and it was really uniqe, I loved the experience. Only thing that was kinda annoying is that all the caches were inside the little villages/towns in the vallies so the BLUFOR would just set up on the hills and wreck havoc 24/7 with HMG's.

Holy ****, the Alt layer is most likely the best thing in PR to date. Just the right ammount of assets and the ironsight infantry makes it look like combat footage from the nineties with the A-10 coming in with strafing runs.
Maybe a slight balance tweak - We had both northern flags to defend and the bomb truck arrived instantly, wiping my squad clean in the first couple of minutes - Right when I got my guys to respawn, a bombcar rode in out of nowhere and killed two squads and three humvees probably. Then when defending Checkpoint 5, it came again (truck), again dealing substantial damage, and a bomb car a couple of minutes later, again dealing solid death warrants. We could prevent that if it wasnt the Alamo with hell raining on us from all sides for solid 20 minutes before I left. Epic stuff.
All in all, I think the suicide vehicles detract from the immersive atmosphere that layer has and would much more like to see two more technicals instead of those two.
