most peaple have seen them in Delft as well.

Roger. Katarn has confirmed that I can use the PR M16 as a basis for the 417. I'll probably get it in a couple of days.

btw the new Diemaco rifles we will get also have those rails, perhaps its something we can take in mind for our models?

As you can see, it still needs lots of work. The butt is the one off the M4, it needs a new mag-well, a new mag, more work on the front handguard and any attachments. Plus the upper part of the reciever needs to be attached to the lower part. I had to rescale the upper reciever, because it seems that H&K have simply taken the lower bit from an M4 and slapped a FOGB 7.62 upper onto it.

ps; have you taken a look at my rifle yet? the one sent you in .3ds

The receiver on your 417 matches the 417 from the HKPro picture, but it doesn't seem to match any of the ones the Danes are using in the other reference pictures, because the slant on the mag well is different; maybe that was a prototype picture? It looks like it's from back when the 417 was going to take G3 magazines.

i think it should get the PSD-1 styled gripp, as it is issued with the marksman variants

Yep, but forgot to PM you about it. No joy. The importer tools I could find don't work with 3ds max 9. Not that it matters now that we've got the PR version.

Correct, as I said, it needs a new mag-well.
