Moving as a group doesn't also mean moving in clusters. Spread your squad out to minimize losses and allow a more effective response when you encounter the enemy.

One does not simply take a helicopter into Mordor - or any hot LZ for that fact.
Keep helicopters out of harms way.

Before driving over that bridge, check for mines. They could blow your entire operation into oblivion.

You don't need a supply crate or an APC to know if a kit is available. If you request it anywhere and it doesn't say it is unavailable, then it is available.
Sounds confusing, or rather obvious, but A LOT of players don't know that.

-You can get slightly different equipment when requesting kits by a supply crate via hold the right mouse key over a kit. For example, in Project Reality: Vietnam, using this to get Rifleman AT kit gives you a Mosin Nagant instead of a AK-47.
-Intel can always be off. Always be on guard, you never know when an enemy defensive position can be 400m away from the reported position.
-Don't run into enemy fire. If you're in a combat zone, sprint from cover to cover and don't run into an MG. You can throw a smoke grenade, but that doesn't mean the enemy magically can't shoot you, and they will spray through the smoke.
-As a SL or Commander, always communicate with other squads for support, reinforcements, and intel. Teamwork is the key to victory.
-Check entrances for wires before entering. Insurgents or the rare Rifleman AP may have placed a grenade trap or a tripflare.

Make yourself useful, do YOU really have to take that sniperkit? Check the map and look through the squads. Maybe the apc squad needs another crewman or the infantry squad is in need of a specialist? If your not sure, just join the squad and ask!

4 years, 31 pages later, and this thread is still going. . . never would have thought anything I suggested would have had such a long life span, it's kind of crazy. . .
Another tip so I dont get a warning
If you get bored, remember to stop by to see how the mod is doing, and try out the newest versions when they come out.

Important Tips.
Get newest version of mumble and ensure you have intro videos to synce mumble. PR mumble is the true experience.
Suppressing fire really works. Coordinate with friendlies, flank and elimate surpressed enemy.
The anti-vehicle kits are important and maybe your only defense against a armored asset. When in doubt, grab one off the crate.
The problem with the shortest path to the objective is that it is always the most dangerous path.
It takes lots of time traveling to the action on foot and the act of dying takes less than a second.
Deaths are the result of unawareness, mistakes or the combination of both.

Snipers should usually stay one flag away from the current objective in AAS.

when the shit hits that fan and you or your squad are in a vulnerable position, shoot back! bullets down range have a better chance of killing the enemy than bullets in the magazine

"when banking in a jet, look up (default: 8 ), youll see what's ahead of you"

"The enemy knows where you are going to strike next. Make sure he doesnt know FROM where and HOW."
"Dont shoot an enemy at first glance if hes not aware of you. This grants your Squadleader the 5-10 seconds he needs to prepare a make-shift surprise assault with every member possibly in cover, set up and striking at the same time."
"Calling for a medic while you are down only alerts the enemy that he hasnt gotten every last one of you. Using Mumble to guide your medic when he revives the wounded may allow your squad to go back to full fighting capacity without the enemy knowing."
"Formations are great at increasing your own success. LMG and Riflemen Specialist should take the lead spot towards the enemy, while Grenadier, Marksman and Medic take the rear from where they act the most effectively."
"Why not combine your Infantry Squad with some Armour? Infantry is grateful for receiving some more much needed cover, and a Tank loves a dozen more eyes that alert it to potential threats and hostile activity, especially in close quarters and woods."
"Always be aware of the fire mode selected on your rifle. Shooting 1 bullet towards your target instead of the 30 you meant for him can cost you your life."
"Information is a key to a successful battle. Feed your superior with as many information on the enemy you can gather so he can decide on an appropriate course of action. Also, give them accurately; dont turn 3 lightly armed riflemen into 2 squads with AT armament for example."

One of the most satisfying thing in PR must be a full squad just opening up on a target , unfortunately it happens way to rarely
