Played last night for a few rounds, I loved the gameplay and it exceeded my expectations. Had no issues, and went smooth.

Played CNC, which was very interesting to say the least...... As INS and AAS tied in votes.

Leaving feedback should never make anybody be a target of such behavior, this is honestly disappointing to see this happening in PR.

I assume this was in response to my bit of feedback a while ago

Had a mortar fob in dod today on sbeneh (this is wrong fob was close to dod but not in it, mistake on my part) and a guy crashed osprey in main on khami and nothing was done, disappointed.

Still had good rounds today, teams were close and not too unbalanced, had some fun rounds. Good shit.
Which was met with this response.
Haley wrote:We dont kick for crashing assets, unless its intentional or theft......mistakes happen....as far as I know u can no longer build in DOD....maybe there is an exploit...

U never seem pleased with any server maybe its time to get one up and running...
Now I got on the other day to play with friends that I haven't played with in a long time, I asked for a switch in a polite manner.

I was met with this response.

I responded in all chat that this was disappointing and honestly immature coming from an elderly adult. I got this response despite other people asking for a switch and getting it except me because I posted some negative feedback about the server.
Image

The team I was on was stacked with clans and good players alike.

Even pushed them to their last flag early on despite the other team getting a BMP1, BTR80s and a superior T72-B1 tank to the T62 on Miltia.

Now I'm not upset that I didn't get a switch nor am I entitled to get one, there is no rule that states that clans must get a switch.

It's honestly disappointing when you see admins react and make decisions because you left feedback that painted them in a bad light, essentially getting persecuted for freedom of speech which is ironic since this server is based in The United States of America.

Anyway, this is my feedback to this particular situation since you're more than likely going to ban me after this post for leaving this feedback here's my hash d7f3b53d3437d2584963a09391c37258

feedback here is one sided as when we try to respond to it we get infracted. As you can see, this is FFG's feedback thread, not ours, ours is locked. Our server has been running successfully for over 10 years. We got this. If you would like a fair discussion, hope on our forum and be nice and we will have a nice discussion.
Have a good day!

Some months ago I moved to Japan, and since then in the evening I've seen admins online only a handful of times. This is a recurring complaint from many people, and nothing is being done about it. Excuses like "we don't accept admins we don't know" are thrown around, but obviously you're not going to know them since they're playing the timezone you're not in.

I also remember FFG pointing out that the kind thing to do would be to kill the server for the night when there's no admin on. This was scoffed at since "no other server does this", but then again no other server runs 24/7 with no admins for extended periods of time either, so that's not really an argument.
There are other servers that can provide admins in this timezone, but HOG seems to prefer to provide an experience of lawlessness, hilariously unbalanced rounds, and skirmish.

The age old argument of "People are joining our server so it must be good!" is BS. By the same logic China's has the most people so is the best country.
When lots of different people are all telling you the same thing, it might be worth thinking about what they're saying. Ignoring anything that conflicts with your narrative of HOG being perfect because it's yours is not helping HOG or the community.

Right now we have a full server playing skirmish. There are many things that could be done to help alleviate this problem, but all require HOG to actively do something, whether it be !stopserver, actively recruiting admins for unadmined timezones, or something else, but please don't keep ignoring the problem.

Is that seriously your response? Both Mectus and Liam might not be your favorite players, but they both have posted feedback that is on point, factual, and constructive. They won't be infracted for this. It shouldn't be super hard to respond to them in a way that you won't be infracted either.
Sure, with replies like this:
Haley wrote:I guess bullshit goes both ways...
I can understand that you get infracted, but maybe that indicates that you should reply in a more helpful way?
To go on your forums is probably not something I would do, if this is the kind of responses you give when you know it is moderated.

I'm sure you could make a new feedback thread yourself, or open the old one if you feel like FFGs post at the start makes it hard to view and reply to feedback at page 33. But remember, you did ask for it.
If you want you can close this thread, but we will of course allow the community to create a new feedback thread for HOG if they so please. Therefore it'd be easier if this one is kept open.
Well there you go, some feedback on your PR servers PR.

Shit excuse. Anyone is allowed to make a feedback thread. You guys freaked in your last thread and got it locked. The fact that feedback is posted here doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to it.

The title is "=HOG= (North American) - Feedback Thread.". So I am pretty sure this thread is about the server and its administrators.

All in all the complains are somewhat about "not enough admins online". I do not see any reason to ignore this complaint. The solution to this is rather simple and pretty objectively:
Try to recruit more admins.

interesting you server admins are instructing us on how to run a server. The reason i dont look at this as anything more than a joke is you guys come in here high on the hog, pardon the pun, and think that if we did exactly what you say our server will be perfect. Well, apply your talk to your own, if it works then come see us.

@clund, look again, FFG made this, it is his, not ours, ours is locked.

come on over and play a few rounds with us, see ya!

btw could you please change the skirmish map from lashkar, its probably one of the worst skirmishes around. If you're tired of asad khal, some kokan skirmish qwai or any decently small map would be good.

Doesn’t matter who makes the thread, the feedback is there. You can’t simply say it’s invalid because it’s not yours. It doesn’t detract from the feedback itself.

Maybe try some variety in the map vote choices. We ended up playing khami -> kashan -> bijar -> and then basrah was set. There are lots of different maps in PR, should be possible to avoid only one type for a whole evening.

Yep tonight we played 3 4km maps, Basra then another 2 4km maps, and most of this was with unbalanced teams that were eventually fixed after 4 pretty unbalanced rounds, but it took the playerbase to sort it. I find if the teams arent decently evenly matched a 4km just makes it worse.

Can you try to have admins online when the server is full? We had it so often last time that there was no admin. there are always trolls and teamkillers. i know its not so easy to provide 24/7 admins, especially when the europeans join the server (time shift). eventually you can recrute some EU admins or kill the server when the last admin leaves. we have a lot of other servers available with admins, but the players wont leave a full server....
just my thoughts and opinion.
