You can say that, yeah...

It is possible to add covers to them, like with the M16, though. And for the 1st person model, you can delete the faces that won't be seen, so it'll not be as high.

You are correct. It is, as I said, a WIP. I basically just placed the rails there to see how it would turn out.

are the DMR variants of the HK417 actually able to fire in full automatic mode?

All the pics I've found of it seems to have a full auto option, so I suppose so. A bit like the British DMR, I guess.

but, british L86 is a 5.56mm rifle, the Hl417 is 7.62mm so it will be more like a G3 with better optics, better accuracy and (probably, due to the better system) less recoil.
=> can't wait to request it, since it must be awsome, as long as you have a rifleman/ammo with you

My suggestion to save polies is to cover up the unused rails, like this:



If I slap on those rail covers, I can delete whatever's underneath them, saving a bunch of polies.

What do you think?

Nice but, you may want to delete the front ones and cover up the back of the RIS?

Looking good, what kind of grip does it get a default one or a PSG1 grip?
