Dont worry kids, if any maps are broken, I'm sure the Daddy DEVs will be around to mend it ... later.

Awesome work Deer - this screenshot is like a photo! :

Strange faction choice, but I suppose it doesn't matter too much when we are playing.

At the end of the day each map is as individual as each person, in Deer`s case, he enjoys creating maps quickly and cleanly, without much concern for location research. Personally if everyone spent the months/years to construct a map like Muttrah or Sangin, I doubt PR will have the quantity to sustain itself with every release.

Not excusing the actual accuracy to the real Beirut, but that`s just the plain reality of the work ethic some of us have adopted.

Well, the tanks for Russia will only be on vehicle warfare mode only, which wont have the cargo ship. Russian forces starting area will be on land in the north east. But on standard, russians will have BTRs that can swim :)

Yeah russia will have tanks only on vehicle warfare gamemode, and didnt have working russian havoc, it could be nice vehicle to try tho =) Will see how M113 vs BRDMs works out, and how big merkava owns everything on the battlefield, well almost everything ;)

That's fine. IMO. Perhaps, he can improve on its accuracy later on.

Yep those spawns on one of the 2 possible first flags for russia, factory or docks =)

About naming, i wouldnt name a single thing in computer games to match any real life names, because every single thing in every single game is still so far from realism =) Only difference is that so few knows how real life tanks behaves for example, while so many knows how real life beirut looks like, still both are pretty much equally unrealistic ;)

Im pretty sure ingame RPG doesnt behave like real life RPG, but many dont know about it / notices it / is bothered by it ;) I remember when i started mapping, i started to see every game totaly differently, i started to find more and more bugs / unmatch with real life.. and nowadays in all games i can see unmatch with real life absolutely all the time, no matter where i look at =P

In a way it's great to have these updates on the forums, but on the other hand it makes me totally crazy because I have to WAIT.

The map is just...awesome!

That statement began to be used long before either Bush's presidencies.

Map looks great, really look forward playing it. Will be interesting to see how Beirut/Muttrah rotation does on the server.

Btw, Russia has a naval base in Tartus, Syria. That's only 120km/74mi from Beirut, so they can bypass seaborne landing and land troops by heli from their naval base.
